Tahitian dance is a beautiful dance art coming from Tahiti, French Polynesia, an island located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, about a six-hour flight from Hawaii. Students can expect to get a high core and lower body workout from this traditional Polynesian island dance!
At Bella Diva we want to empathize ballet is for everybody and can be done by any BODY. This class will be a great add-on for all our world dancers who wish to develop classical training & stage presence for performance.
Ballet is a great workout for the whole body: It is a weight-bearing form of exercise which strengthens muscles, promotes healthy bones, and burns calories. Because ballet uses full range of muscles, it is also great for cognitive functions like coordination and concentration.

Persia, bordering Central Asia and the Middle East is the home of Classical Persian Dance. This dance style is fluid, yet rhythmic and emphasizes the use of the hands and wrists. This class explores Persian aesthetics, body positions, shape of the hands, and foot step transitions.

“Ginga” is a Brazilian Portuguese word that closely translates to “sway” and is associated with movement. Ginga is what you do with your body, between the steps while you are dancing, incorporating your energy, swag, & vibe. This is the difference between ‘doing’ the steps and dancing the steps. Ginga Vibe draws on styles from the African Diaspora including Samba, Funk, Afro-Caribe, Dance Hall, Soca and Lambada. This class includes cardio training, multicultural exploration, & weekly dance combos intended to move both the body & the spirit so you can find your own ginga vibe!
During this class students will explore and drill intermediate level technique & layering that make up the belly dance vocabulary. Students will study Egyptian folkloric movements, Egyptian cabaret technique, and ever-changing fusions of dance derived from many cultures & time periods including hip hop, ballet, & Polynesian dance movements. Class ends with exploring one’s own body, unique creativity, and musicality in a 5-minute freestyle. 1 Year belly dance experience required.

This beautiful cultural dance is known for its soft knees, swaying hips, intricate arm, and hand movements. The modern hula is called Hula ʻAuana (oh-wan-ah) and created in response to Western influences that came to the islands. ʻAuana means to wander or ramble, which aligns with the deviation of this particular type of hula as it drifted away from the sacred elements intrinsic to Hula Kahiko.

TaijiFit™️ is a 30-minute mind/body workout that combines the best of traditional Taiji (T’ai Chi) with mindfulness and modern western fitness. TaijiFit is a low impact class to help build immunity, relieve stress and anxiety, and develop body awareness, all while experiencing mindful movement.

Indian folk dances are performed for every possible occasion, including Bollywood films and choreographies, to celebrate the arrival of seasons, various Hindu deities, the birth of a child, weddings, and festivals, which are plenty. This class will increase strength, endurance, flexibility, relaxation, breath and body awareness, while reducing fatigue for moms-to-be. Prenatal Yoga and Belly Dance will also reduce low back pain and other common ailments associated with pregnancy such as tights hips, swollen feet and anxiety.
