LaBlast® is a partner-free dance fitness workout created by world renowned dancer and fitness expert Louis van Amstel (as seen on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars). Designed for all levels – from the absolute beginner to the experienced dancer, LaBlast leads you through an eclectic mix of classic ballroom dances set to a variety of music genres including Salsa, Merengue, Tango, Jive, Foxtrot, Mambo, Bachata, Cha Cha and Rumba.
BollyX is a Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. Its 50-minute cardio workout cycles between higher and lower-intensity dance sequences to get you moving, sweating, and motivated all at the same time.
Improvisational Tribal Style Belly Dance combines a language of movements with a specific set of cues to create an opportunity for improvised unison between dancers. The movements are based in belly dance diaspora, flamenco arm work, Indian Classical dance traditions and folkloric dances of North Africa and Egypt. ITS is defined by the active switching of roles within the group as every member takes a turn to lead and follow movements within a piece of music or choreography. Thursdays 7:45-8:45pm
Bella Diva Dance Online Class Schedule
This class is for the dancer who wants to strengthen their presentation learning classical foundational movements found in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. Instructor Alfred Smith will increase your strength, flexibility, and extension, while paying special attention to your body lines and carriage.
Thurs: 7:45-8:45 pm
The course will cover the basics of Arabic drumming and Middle Eastern Rhythms. Students will learn how to play basic sounds on the doumbek and drill specific rhythms to continuously improve in speed and sound-quality. Drums are provided!
