About the Artists
Pablo Guerreiro
Based in Rio de Janeiro, Pablo truly enjoys sharing his talents and his love for Samba with the world. He is light and smooth on his feet, and that is why he is known to be the ‘Brazilian Michael Jackson.’
Pablo is a former teacher from Jaime Aroxa and Manoel Dionísio Mestre Sala and Porta Bandeira dance schools, where he acquired a vast knowledge of the carioca samba world. As a dancer, he participated in many musicals, shows, and performances including Se Ela Dança Eu Danço (So You Think You Can Dance Brasil).
At Acadêmicos do Salgueiro and Mangueira Samba Schools he had the opportunity to work with great choreographers, such as Jaime Arôxa, Hélio Bejani, and Carlinhos de Jesus.
Thai Rodrigues
Thai is a performing artist and dancer at the Ginga Tropical show in Rio, one of the top passistas of Portela and instructor of Samba no pé. She started her journey into arts with Dança de Salão when she was only 7 years old, enrolling into the theater the following year and completing over 8 years of training and courses.
When she was 16, she joined the Corpafro company under the direction of Eliete Miranda. Her artistic journey has allowed her to travel and perform across Brazil and the world, in places such as Argentina, Paraguay, Turkey, China, Guiné Equatorial, and Dubai. She is also one of the dancers and performers at the prestigious Carlinhos de Jesus show.
Thai will be working on samba no pé, Rio-style, with our students, learning the intricate footwork and rhythms of Brazilian Samba.
