Visiting Master Percussionist from Rio de Janeiro, JORGE ALABE, will be joining Ginga for a full evening of Samba Celebration! He will also be performing with Batería Alegría for a special mid-show performance!
Samba Colorado Dance Company will perform with the Bateria, and Luciana Martins Da Silva will perform a special showcase piece along with Bella Diva Dance!
Fresh Caipirinhas and a variety of traditional Brazilian food by Little Brazil will be available for purchase.
Samba Dance lesson at 8 pm included with admission.

Bella Diva Dance will once again be RISING in our community to help end violence against women. Started in 2012 as part of the “V-Day Movement” created by playwright Eve Ensler, One Billion Rising is a global campaign to end violence against women, rise for justice and promote gender equality. This is a year-long campaign that is more than a rally and rising on Feb. 14th!This show will be a fundraiser with all ticket sales going to the PIER INSTITUTE’s non-profit VERIFICA program. Underlying the horrors of human trafficking are the dark economics that supports all black markets. PIER Institute offers turn-key corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to reduce both the demand for forced labor and the supply of trafficked victims.
During the show, we will, of course, be entertaining you with our signature world dance styles, Belly Dance, Samba, & Bollywood! We will be having a special guest performing artist Sadakat Belly Dance, Heritage Irish Dance, & Mile High KINGdom. We will be hosted by our very own Pierre Jean Pierre.
