Beginner Fusion Belly Dance

In this class, students will be introduced to beginner level techniques of fusion belly dance learning the foundational roots of Egyptian folkloric and Raqs Sharqi movements and then combining these techniques with a fusion of dance forms derived from different cultures and time periods including hip-hop, contemporary, and classical Indian dance styles. Introduction of props including zills, veil, and sword is also explored. No belly dance experience is required.
