Power Breakfasts to Kick the Day Off Right
In the midst of our really busy, have-no-time-for-anything lives, we sacrifice a lot of things. Breakfast is one of them. Take this scenario: You wake up and you’re already late for work. You kind of get ready and rush out the door, stop by the nearest bakery, get some coffee and a bagel or a doughnut (or any other pastry, really), and run to work. Sound familiar? Sure it does. It happens to most of us, if we’re honest.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… Sigh. Yes, it sounds cliché, and there’s not much we can do about that. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not true. It really is. A good breakfast sets off the day right and a bad one – well, it kind of sets you up for a fall. The truth is that a bad breakfast will have you spinning in all the wrong directions. You’ll be hungry sooner, eat more throughout the day than if you had eaten a nutritious breakfast, and have less energy. Here are some breakfast ideas that will nourish our bodies properly for everything that the day has in store for us.
